As a joint venture between the state-owned enterprise PT Aneka Tambang (ANTAM) and Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) of Japan—with an ownership split of 80% and 20% respectively—the company is driving innovation in the mineral processing sector. PT ICA is currently operating a cutting-edge Chemical Grade Alumina (CGA) plant located in Tayan, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. This facility processes 1.7 million tons of bauxite ore annually to produce 300,000 tons of high-quality CGA, which supports both domestic industry requirements and international exports to Japan.
To sustain our operational excellence and expand our team of professionals, PT ICA is opening recruitment for talented individuals to join our workforce in West Kalimantan.
## Available Positions
We are looking for highly motivated professionals to fill the following roles:
1. Management Trainee (Production)
The Management Trainee program is a structured pathway designed to accelerate the professional growth of top-tier graduates, preparing them to emerge as the future leaders of our organization.
* Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum GPA of 3.20.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Priority is given to candidates residing in West Kalimantan who are willing to be stationed in Tayan.
2. Quality Control Supervisor
This role oversees critical quality standards to ensure our production outputs meet global benchmarks.
* Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum GPA of 3.00.
* At least 2 years of professional experience in a Quality Control environment.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP applications.
* Understanding of basic analytical principles, data processing, and laboratory equipment maintenance.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Willingness to relocate and work in Tayan, Sanggau.
3. Instrument & Electrical Engineer
This technical role focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of our electrical infrastructure.
* Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Heavy Current).
* Minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance.
* Proven experience in electrical testing and commissioning.
* Ability to draft cost estimation plans for electrification systems.
* Proficiency in ETAP software and technical knowledge of 3-phase motor starters (DOL, INV, Start-Delta, Soft-starter) and power feeder systems (LV, MV).
* Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations for electrical work and relay protection coordination.
* Certification as an electrical expert is highly desirable.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
