Plant Operator Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our refinery. Your primary duties will include:
* Operational Excellence: Managing LPG refinery operations safely and in strict accordance with production targets and standard operating procedures.
* Startup and Shutdown Protocols: Executing seamless refinery startup and shutdown sequences, including managing emergency shutdown procedures when necessary.
* Field Monitoring: Conducting routine equipment inspections, maintaining precise log sheets, identifying maintenance needs, and preparing machinery for repair.
* Compliance and Safety: Implementing and upholding strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/K3L) policies, while proactively reporting potential hazards to management.
* Operational Support: Following supervisory directives and collaborating effectively with the broader production team.
Qualifications and Requirements
To thrive in this role, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to professional growth:
* Education: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a role equivalent to a DCS Control Room Operator. Experience within an Oil & Gas company is highly preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a high level of comfort with industrial control systems.
* Language: Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

* Location: Candidates currently domiciled in Palembang are strongly preferred.
